I never complained much about Encore's box designs. So far so good.
The art and design of the box does bring back the "old days"...
Instead of styro, now they use plastic inserts.
There are 2 Skylnyx here, one is Vintage and one is new... Make ur guesses...
Vintage left comes with Toybox logo and new one comes with Takara...
The vintage eye is gold color while the new one is blue...

New version with black gun turret.Apparently, the new Encore version is not that bad after all. Its surprised to see it not selling so well in market. Its worth to buy now, vintage used to cost around US 80-100 each without boxes. Do your maths....

Last year at Botcon, one of my only "goal buys" was one of these. After wishy washing around, I found a booth selling it for 70 bucks which was a steal so I bought it.
He is certainly fun and awesome and along with Pretender makes up part of my "nerdy transformers" collection.
